After studying textile design at the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich, Ines Boesch (b. 1960) developed with Monique Meier the entire product palette for Meier’s company En Soie. Boesch’s signature style was already evident in her very first scarf, which would greatly influence the Zurich silk firm’s production. Rather than repeating patterns, she paints whole scenes. Here it is a heavenly baroque interior framed by lush red curtains and populated by well-dressed rabbits (part of En Soie’s logo).
